Rail passes can be issued Monday to Friday: 9AM to 5.30PM (Sydney Time)
Rail Passes CAN NOT be issued 7 Working days or less from Australian departure dates
Payment Methods
Payments can be arranged only by Visa, Mastercard & Amex.
Seat Couchette / Sleeper Reservation Fees
Reservations can be made when purchasing passes at an additional cost. Seat and couchette/sleeper reservations are not refundable, not exchangeable. As a guide only, the rail operator charges:
Seat reservations: Starting from AUD 17 per person, per train
Couchette Accomodation: Starting from AUD 45 per person, per train

OctopusTravel Booking Fee
Any Seat, Couchette or Sleeper reservations, as well as Eurostar, will attract a Booking Fee payable at the time of booking. OctopusTravel Booking Fee is not refundable, not transferable.
OctopusTravel Booking Fee* : AUD 30 per file *Booking Fee does Not apply to rail passes where no specific reservation is made.
Cancellation Fees
All rail passes incur cancellation fees as soon as bookings are confirmed and pass issued. In addition to cancellation fees charged by the railways (normally 15% penalty), there is also a cancellation fee charged by OctopusTravel at AUD 10 per pass.

Rail Pass Issue & Booking Fee
A late booking fee is charged per pass whenever bookings are requested after booking deadline. Late fees are payable to OctopusTravel at time of booking. Late Fee applies to bookings made: 2 weeks from Australian departure date: AUD 20 per pass
Rail Passes cannot be issued 7 Working days or less from Australian departure dates

Rail passes can be collected from the following address. Please advise time of collection in advance, so that we have passes ready for you.
