Within the immediate vicinity is the Istana or the Presidential Palace and the Le Meridien and Grand Central Hotels. The popular shopping mall, Centrepoint is within 5 minutes walk.ExteriorThe hotel faces the exit of the underground portion of a main highway, the Central Expressway (CTE). Beyond the CTE is the green grounds of the Istana. The hotel building is smaller in size being only six stories high and in white. The design is of the 70s genre.LobbyThe lobby is small with beige marble flooring. It looks a little tired and could use a little more lighting.Scattered seating is available. The reception counter faces the main doors and the 2 lifts are facing the counter. The lifts are tiny for today's standards.RoomsThe rooms are a quaintly a throwback to the 70's as most of the furnishing are refurbished. Carpets and soft furnishing are recently replace. The bathrooms are simple and tiles in white and pink. Standing shower only in the standard rooms. |
