Location

Located just off the Orchard Road in a quiet residential district, the hotel is still near enough by a five minute walk to Orchard Road.

Exterior

The hotel consists of three blocks that have been competely refurbished in 2000. The facade of windows and a roof top made of curved roofs make up the distinctive Tower Wing. The Garden and Valley Wing are mostly obscured by the lush trees and vegetation that are the hallmarks of the Shangri La Singapore.

Lobby

The lobby is huge with large Doric columns that line the perimeter. Large chandeliers supplement the already sufficient sunlight. The floor is in beige marble with seating areas for coffee and stairs leading upstair for more lounging areas for afternoon tea.

Rooms

Rooms are very large with lots of sunlight. The style is elegant contemporary with subtle colors and understated class. Soft finishing and bathrooms in marble with quality fittings. Everything about the room and service exudes class and quality.
