Location

The hotel is located in a quiet residential area away from the hustle and bustle of the Duomo and the noisy traffic of the station, but still in central Florence. There is a large piazza in front of the hotel making it easy to find.

Exterior

This building is older than most of those in the square, built around the 19th century. It is a very impressive, regal looking building giving the impression that it was formerly an aristocratic home perhaps for one of Florence's many rich noble families.

Lobby

The lobby is incredibly luxurious even if slightly smaller than one would expect. The combination of soft red carpets and subdued lighting from antique lamps, offer a relaxed and very homely atmosphere. There is a bar situated at one end of the reception area, serving a variety of drinks and snacks.

Rooms

The rooms are very nicely kept, luxurious and containing every comfort possible. The hotel does have an annexe where approximately a third of the hotels rooms are located.
