A wonderful location in the heart of the Salzburg old town, the hotel is near the pedestrian shopping area, within easy walking distance of the cathedral and the famous Mozart-haus.

Exterior

A beautiful traditional building of historical interest, the altstadt was formerly an ancient inn dating 1377. Entry through the main arch, decorated with wrought iron and gold leaf work.

The lobby has marble floor & is medium in size, cosy with a cocktail and coffee lounge antiques, classic furnishings & paintings.
