Location

Located near the centre of Hervey Bay, gateway to Fraser Island. July - Oct is whale watching season off Hervey Bay, where humpback whales congregate and can be seen most days during this period. At the same time the area has dolphins, and if one is luck they can also spot dugongs. Water in Hervey Bay is magnificent turquoise colour, and the beach although darker colour sand - is very clean. Near by Fraser Island is world's largest sand island and is a must for all visitors to the area.
